Three weeks of Gurmat Updesh Diwaans will happen in celebration of the 300th Gurgaddhi Divas of the eternally living, only and supreme Guru of the Sikhs, Dhan Dhan Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji Maharaj. The 2008 UK Visit for Gurmat Parchaar will take place from 18th July to 10th August in various Guru Ghars around the country. Amrit Sanchaar as prescribed by Sri Guru Gobind Singh Sahib Ji Maharaj will take place nationally on a number of occasions.
